Melissa Hung is a writer and journalist. Her writing on culture and immigrant communities has appeared in NPR, Vogue, Catapult, Longreads, and Pacific Standard. Melissa is the founding editor of Hyphen and the former director of WritersCorps. She has received fellowships from VONA and the Interdisciplinary Writers Lab. A native of Houston, she lives in San Francisco.
