John Caperton is the author of Subterranean Living, a collection of short fiction and his first book. He was once a contributing writer as well as the photo editor for The Nose Magazine, a staff photographer for The Nashville Banner and an assistant editor for Narrative Magazine. John also taught writing, photography and filmmaking classes at the Academy of Art University’s School of Motion Pictures and Television for seventeen or so years. Originally from West Virginia, he now lives in Northern California and is avoiding honest labor.
