I'm a writer, both non-fiction and fiction. I worked in publishing as an assistant editor in cookbooks at Simon & Schuster before becoming a freelance writer for cookbooks & lifestyle books. My career took a detour after a battle with cancer and now I write about cancer from several perspectives. My fiction writing focuses on relationships and the tiny moments of life that define us.
When I'm not writing, I'm reading: biographies, historical fiction, Beverly Cleary and Harry Potter with my kids, or the back of a cereal box.
