Lee Romer Kaplan

Lee Romer Kaplan is a civil rights lawyer turned MFA-wielding English professor, Lee grew up shuttling between Israel, Berkeley, and her mother's native Brooklyn. Her work has secured fellowships to Bread Loaf, Ragdale, Squaw Valley, Sozopol Fiction Seminar, Tin House and the Anderson Center, among others, and been a James Jones First Novel Contest and Dana Award finalist. Recent poems at Tulane Review, essays at Vagabond and Fiction Writers Review, flash fiction at 100 Word Stories and Postcard Prose & Poems, and in Nothing Short Of: Selected Tales from 100 Word Story (Outpost19 Books, 2018). Her novel, TELL ME WHO I AM, is forthcoming.
